The Grandhotel Zvon s.r.o. with its registered office at Nám. Přemysla Otakara II. 90/28, České Budějovice, 370 01, Business ID No.: 26018128, registered in the Commercial Register kept at the Regional Court in České Budějovice, Section C, Insert 9296, 23.11.1999 (hereinafter referred to as the "hotel").

These Terms and Conditions govern the mutual rights and obligations arising in connection with or on the basis of a contract concluded between the hotel and another person. These terms and conditions therefore apply generally to all hotel guests and agencies with whom a written contract for the provision of services by the Grandhotel Zvon has not been agreed.


1. BOOKING CONDITIONS


Price information

The price includes VAT (12%). The price is per room per night, including breakfast, unless the guest chooses otherwise. The municipal tax is CZK 50 per person per night.

Accommodation and services reservation

Accommodation and other services in the hotel and confirmation of the reservation by the hotel is possible only in writing, i.e. via email. A reservation is valid and binding if the hotel confirms the reservation in writing to the guest or the guest receives an automatic email confirmation generated by the online reservation system.

Payment and refund terms

If the client books a price plan with the cancellation option, no advance payment is required. A credit card provided for guarantee is only charged in the event of cancellation after the free cancellation policy has expired or in the event of a no-show.

If the client books a price plan with the no-cancellation option, payment is required immediately either through the payment gateway or by a bank transfer. Cancellation at any time after the booking has been made or a no-show is always charged in full.

If the client selects a booking with the cancellation option and pays for the booking via a bank transfer, the payment will be refunded in full, in the same way and to the same account within 3 working days.

Cancellation policy

If you cancel your reservation up to 1 day before the arrival date, no fees or penalties will be charged and the deposit will be refunded in full. If you do not arrive on your check-in date, you will be charged 100 % of the total booking price.

Instructions for payment of the deposit by bank transfer

Payment instructions for an advance payment with the possibility of cancellation 1 or more days before the arrival with a full refund of the advance payment:

a) Payment by a credit card: in case of booking less than 3 days before the arrival, only immediate payment by a credit card is required. When paying by a credit card, you will be redirected to a secure payment gateway through which the deposit will be charged to your card.

b) Deposit payment by a bank transfer: you can only use the deposit payment by a bank transfer 3 or more days before the arrival, the payment must be made within 24 hours from the date of booking, otherwise it will be cancelled.

2. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE GUEST


- The guest has the right to use the reserved premises and their facilities, as well as the facilities of the common areas

- The guest is responsible for any damages caused to the room during the stay and agrees to pay for any repairs, replacements or special cleaning. The amount of the payment will be determined by the hotel

- The guest is obliged to complain about any defects or shortcomings during their stay in the hotel so that a remedy can be arranged

- The guest is obliged to pay the costs associated with the use of the hotel services, including additional services, on the day of departure at the latest unless otherwise agreed. In the event of non-payment, the hotel is entitled to charge the corresponding amount to the guest's credit card after departure

- The guest may withdraw from the contract on the basis of the cancellation policy or if the hotel has not provided the guest with the services agreed in advance, in accordance with the standard of the hotel

- Check-in time is from 2 p.m. on the arrival day; early check-in is possible only by a prior agreement with the hotel and for an additional fee - Check-out time is until 11 a.m. on the departure day; late check-out is possible by a prior arrangement with the hotel and for an additional fee

- The entire hotel is non-smoking; violation of this regulation and smoking in the room or on the hotel premises entitles the hotel to charge the guest a penalty of EUR 200 for cleaning the room or the hotel premises; the smoking ban and the related penalty also apply to smoking electronic cigarettes; smoking is only allowed in front of the hotel in the designated area(s)

- The hotel quiet hours are between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.; behaviour that leads to disturbance of other guests during the night quiet time is strictly prohibited (this includes loud music, television, shouting in rooms, corridors and other disruptive behaviour); in case of serious violation of this rule, the hotel may penalise guests with a financial penalty of up to EUR 200 or, if necessary, call the police

- Dogs can be accommodated on the basis of the hotel prior confirmation for a fee of EUR 9/ a day


3. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE HOTEL


- The hotel is obliged to provide accommodation for the guest on the basis of pre-agreed services that correspond to the hotel’s standard

- In the event that the hotel cannot accommodate the guest on the basis of a reservation made and confirmed in advance, it is obliged to arrange adequate accommodation for the guest in another establishment


4. DISPUTE RESOLUTION


- In the event that a consumer dispute arises between us and the consumer under a contract of sale or a contract for the provision of services, which cannot be resolved by a mutual agreement, the consumer may submit a proposal for an out-of-court settlement of such dispute to the designated entity for out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes, which is:

5. FINAL PROVISIONS


These terms and conditions are valid from 1stApril 2023 and the hotel reserves the right to change them and the guest is obliged to abide by these current terms and conditions.

The hotel collects the guest's personal data only for the period of time necessary until the termination of the provision of the agreed services and does not disclose this data to others.
